Ci patterns

Lines are matched by length and tones. Use 1 for a rhymed line and 0 for an unrhymed line, one digit per line. Both tone and rhyme filters accept ? or the full-width ？ as a wildcard.

Rhymes and references

Word search uses a local dictionary, with definitions completed online. The English interface uses a Chinese–English dictionary.

Level tones are red; oblique tones are blue. Entering tones are bold with a dotted underline. Scroll through entries; hover for the rhyme group or select a character to find words.

Tools for Chinese poetry

Paste a regulated poem to identify its meter and check tones and rhymes. For ci, first choose a tune pattern and variant. The normal view is for full-text drafting; the aligned view supports character-by-character writing. Meter checks provide rule references, not judgments of literary merit.
